Jennifer Nacht, The Scoop 51 Church St. Map 43 Parcel 178, sign.
Ms. Nacht presented her request. She stated she received approval on March 15, 2011 for her sign to be placed on a post. When the snow melted, it was discovered that there was no ground in the approved location for placement of the post. She asked the Commission to grant approval to place the sign on a bracket on the building with the sign attached so that the sign would not swing.
SS made a motion to approve the sign as presented to be attached to the right of the door at a height to be at the level of the top of the door. CC seconded the motion and the Commission voted to approve 3-0.
Dr. Alan Inglis, 25 Franklin St., Map 43 Parcel 85, sign.
Dr. Inglis presented his request to place his sign flush to the building. He said that there are existing sign posts in front of the building and he may return to the Commission to request to have a sign placed there. JB advised that there may be an issue with multiple signs therefore he suggested to Dr. Inglis that he check with the building inspector before coming before the Commission.
SS made a motion to approve the sign as presented in the location described. CC seconded the motion. The Commission voted to approve 3-0.
Minutes:
1) March 1, 2011-CC made a motion to approve the minutes and SS seconded the motion. The Commission voted to approve 3-0.
2) March 15, 2011- Tabled due to lack of quorum of participants for that meeting.
3) December 7, 2010-Tabled due to lack of quorum of participants for that meeting.
SS made a motion to adjourn the meeting and CC seconded the motion. The Commission voted to adjourn at 6:00 pm.
